Today, an old high school friend hired me to work in his grocery store. He dropped out in 10th grade to work at the store more. I just got my Masters.

Today, my Dad laid me off from our family business. He then got angry with me when I wouldn't agree to "help out for free when things get busy on the weekends".

Today, I went into work and was told to go home because of a power outage. An hour later my boss called me and asked if I could come into work to wash his car.

Today, someone lit my truck on fire. While working I heard an announcement over the P.A. "Could the owner of a blue Ford pickup please report to the back parking lot? Your truck is on fire."

Today, I was taking calls at the helpdesk I work at. The caller was a man, and while helping him with his issue he suddenly stopped to tell me I had a nice soothing voice. Then he told me to say something else. As I continued to help him, he started making moaning noises. I'm a guy.

Today, I received a promotion. I start the new position in two weeks, but next week I'll be training my replacement: a high school intern.

Today, I found out that my boss of the past two years is named Craig. I've been calling him Greg.
